A MAN who got behind the wheel while more than three times the drink-drive limit has been banned from the roads for two years.
Richard Adams, of East Borough, Wimborne, had 110 micrograms of alcohol in his breath when he was arrested on November 21 2018.
He had been driving a Ford Focus in Julians Road, Wimborne.
The 31-year-old appeared at Poole Magistrates' Court in January 11 to admit drink-driving, driving without appropriate insurance and failing to surrender to custody on December 11.
He was sentenced to a community order, under which he must carry out 120 hours of unpaid work. He was also banned from driving for 24 months and ordered to pay a surcharge and costs.
