Name: Cissa Rego.

Years behind the lens: 14 very enjoyable years.

Current Camera: Nikon D7100.

Dream camera: Hasselblad X1D.

Piece of equipment you couldn’t be without: My trusted 18-70 lens.

Favourite Dorset location: The Isle of Purbeck.

Dream location: The Dolomites in Italy.

Worst photographic mishap: Forgetting all my batteries at home before a shoot.

Best photographic success: I don't have a ground breaking success but having one of my photos featured in the London Institute of Photography a couple of years ago was great, as well as seeing someone I tutored winning a photography competition was really good.

Top tip: Always remember to look around you instead of being stuck with only one subject. There's always so much happening!

What you’ve gained/learnt from or liked about Echo Camera Club Dorset: I've met great people and it helps me to remember that learning is always an ongoing thing. There's always something new to learn and many times seeing people talking about how they achieved a shot gives me insight on way of doing things that maybe I haven't thought about before.
