Part of Bournemouth has been affected by a power cut
PART of Bournemouth was affected by a power cut.
Around 130 BH3 and BH12 postcodes were initially understood to have been affected by the loss of supply at around 1pm, however the number was reduced to around 50.
Arts University Bournemouth also confirmed its campus was affected by the power outage.
Travel Dorset was warning traffic lights in the area may be affected.
A spokesperson for energy firm SSE said engineers were on site “working hard to get the power back on as quickly as they can”.
Power was restored by 4pm.
