PUNDIT Jamie Redknapp insisted Cherries would be faced with a “no-brainer” if they received a mega-money bid for Callum Wilson.

A report in the Daily Star claimed the Dorset club “want £75million” for the striker but that they would “listen to any offer above £70m”.

Chelsea assistant manager Gianfranco Zola last month revealed the Blues’ interest in Wilson, while West Ham are reportedly keen on a swoop if Marko Arnautovic makes a move to China.

Former Cherries star Redknapp told Sky: “I’d sell Wilson for £75m. If you get that, you have to take it. It’s a no-brainer.

“He is a good player. He has had injuries in the past. He has tremendous pace. £75m is a lot of money.”

According to Sky, Tottenham have joined the race to sign Wilson, who has overcome two serious knee injuries to score 53 times in 138 appearances for Cherries.

The 26-year-old also netted on his England debut against the United States in November.

Cherries boss Eddie Howe has repeatedly said he does not want to lose Wilson’s services.

Asked last week if he would sell for the right price, Howe said: “It’s just my opinion but I wouldn’t sell at any price. But I’m the manager of the team, trying to create the best team I can.”
