HARRY Redknapp’s eldest son will go on trial accused of getting behind the wheel while 15 times the drug-drive limit next month.

As reported in the Daily Echo, Mark Redknapp, 48, is alleged to have driven a grey Mercedes C63 in Penn Hill Avenue, Poole on April 2 2018 with 749 micrograms of cocaine derivative benzoylecgonine per litre of blood.

The limit is 50.

Redknapp, of Lavender Road in Bournemouth, has pleaded not guilty to the charge.

A case management hearing took place at Poole Magistrates’ Court yesterday. Redknapp did not appear at the court as he was not required to attend.

He will next appear before the court in February for a trial.
