BRITAIN’S Got Talent 2018 runner up Robert White, will be performing in Dorset this spring as part of his new UK tour.

The comedian, who was one of the favourites to win the talent show, is bringing his quirky style of comedy to Lighthouse, Poole’s Centre for the Arts in March.

Robert White, 41, is a stand-up from West Sussex. He describes himself as “the only gay, Aspergic, quarter-Welsh comic on the British comedy circuit”.

He may sound like a niche act, but the musical comedian has managed to garner a wide appeal with his chaotic style and improvised musical skills.

Robert came second in the Britain’s Got Talent grand final, missing out only to fellow comedian Lost Voice Guy (Lee Ridley) who finally took home first prize.

Known for his brilliant timing and performance style, his stage presence, improvisational skills and delivery won him the 2010 Malcolm Hardee Award for Comic Originality.

His routines have also received over six million views on YouTube and he also wrote one of Dave’s Top Ten Jokes of The Fringe.

Robert White: The Tank Top Tour visits Lighthouse, Poole’s Centre for the Arts on Thursday, March 14 at 7.30pm (theatre)
