THERE'S good news for drivers in Poole as the Twin Sails Bridge has finally reopened this morning.
Engineers worked at the bridge yesterday to repair a faulty electronic sensor.
The work is now complete and the bridge is back in operation.
A Borough of Poole spokesperson said: “The bridge is now open.
"Thank you to all motorists for your patience at this difficult time - we appreciate that it is very frustrating and we are working hard to resolve these issues for the long-term as soon as we can."
The bridge has been beset by a series of problems in recent weeks.

After briefly re-opening before Christmas, it was shut again on Boxing Day after the sensor fault developed on the Poole side.
The issue followed a separate problem on the Hamworthy side which has been under investigation for weeks.
Bridge specialists are due to visit at the end of January.
