A THREE-BED Bournemouth home was closed by the courts after reports of “serious nuisance and disorder”.

As reported in the Daily Echo, the property at 27 Northcote Road was shut by magistrates at the court in Poole earlier this month.

Rachel Jenvey, 38, who lived at the semi-detached home, was ordered not to return for three months. The mum has since left Bournemouth for Weymouth as a result of the closure, reportedly saying after the hearing: “I’ll be out of here before you know it, **** you all.”

Officers from Boscombe’s neighbourhood policing team worked with officials from Bournemouth council to close the property near the train station.

Only the landlord can enter the address during the closure.

Sergeant Ashley White of Dorset Police said: “We have worked closely with partners to respond to concerns in relation to the behaviour of those attending this address.

“I appreciate this activity has had a significant impact on the local community in recent weeks and I hope this order will make a difference.

“We will not tolerate anti-social behaviour and drug-related activity and we are determined to take action where concerns arise.”

Matthew King, community enforcement and anti-social behaviour manager for the council, said the closure order follows a “sustained period of concerning activity and behaviour”.

“This course of action is always a last resort, but it was deemed necessary in this case due to the serious nuisance and disorder relating to this property and the impact that was having on the local community,” he said.

“The police and council continue to work in collaboration to robustly deal with individuals or groups who have a detrimental effect on the local community due to drug-related activity.
