A MAN was rescued from the sea and taken to hospital on Tuesday morning.
Police, ambulance and the coastguard were called to Bournemouth Pier around 11am after a concern for welfare reporting a man in the sea off Bournemouth Pier.
He was rescued from the water and seen by the ambulance. He was taken to hospital as a precaution.
