A MAN'S teeth were knocked out after he was confronted by a group of teenagers at a leisure centre earlier this month,

The victim, 19, had parked his motorbike outside the Ringwood Health and Leisure Centre in Parsonage Barn Lane on Sunday, December 9 when he was confronted by at least seven males, one of whom was holding a metal pole.

Police say members of the group are believed to have been aged between 13 and 19.

One then attacked the victim, knocking out his front teeth. He will need extensive dental surgery as a result of his injuries.

The wing mirror of the bike was also smashed during the incident, which happened between 10.40am and 10.55am.

Detectives investigating the attack are searching for a white man in his late teens who is around six feet tall and has cropped dark hair.

He is of medium build and was wearing shorts and a light jumper.

A number of people are believed to have witnessed the attack.
