A MAN arrested after a woman was found with serious injuries in the middle of Bournemouth’s Wessex Way will face no further police action.
The woman in her 30s was discovered in the westbound carriageway of the Wessex Way with head injuries during the morning rush-hour on November 8.
It was reported that she had been travelling in a moving vehicle before she was found.
The woman was taken to hospital for treatment but has since been discharged.
An investigation was launched to establish how she sustained her injuries and came to be at the side of the road.
A 32-year-old Bournemouth man was arrested and released under investigation.
A Dorset Police spokesperson said: “Following detailed enquiries by detectives at Bournemouth CID, it was established that no criminal offences had been committed and he has now been released from under investigation and will face no further police action.”
