Corfe Castle illuminated by its Winter Lights
CORFE Castle will be lit up after dark this month.
The National Trust will be illuminating the historic castle on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings, from December 14.
A National Trust spokesman said: "We will be open until 7pm to make the most of the beacons, braziers and lighting effects."
The Follow the Lord of Misrule event also starts on December 14.
This includes stories and games from a tradition which stretched from medieval times to the 17th century.
"The Lord of Misrule will be making mischief during the day and on each evening of Winter Lights," said the spokesman.
Both events are free but normal admission prices apply.
