CCTV images of a suspect were released by police after a bottle of gin was stolen from Poole’s John Lewis store.
At around 4.25pm on December 3, a woman entered the store on Poole Retail Park and put a bottle of gin in a bag before making off without paying.
Police said the woman was also believed to have stolen gin from the store on November 28 and had made a previous attempt to steal alcohol that was unsuccessful.
Following the appeal, a woman has been identified and is helping officers with their enquiries.
