FOLLOWING an investment of £390,000, a second Slug & Lettuce is set to open its doors in Bournemouth today.
Located on the site of the former Yates pub in Dean Park Crescent, the new Slug & Lettuce will feature what’s described as “bird cage seating areas, a bespoke space for get togethers and a menu featuring 23 dishes to suit every palate.”, whether you’re after a sin free serving or a cheat day treat”.
Throughout the week, the bar will be offering special deals for customers, including 2-4-1 cocktails all day, every day, and wine from £12 on Wine Down Wednesdays.
Kim Whyman, general manager at Slug & Lettuce Bournemouth, said: “We are thrilled to be opening Slug & Lettuce in Bournemouth.
“We’ve worked hard to ensure we’re the go-to destination for any get-together, whether grabbing a bite to eat midweek, or helping to create magical memories with a night out or celebration; we will be there to help people celebrate in style.”
The Stonegate Pub Company which opens both the Slug & Lettuce and the Yates chain, is the largest privately held managed pub operator in the UK, with revenues in excess of £700 million.
There are also branches in Richmond Hill Bournemouth and High Street Poole.
