A YOUNG boy was seriously injured after a crash near a junior school on Friday
Police were called to Sea View Road, opposite the junction of St Martins Road, which leads to Upton Junior School, at around 3.20pm.
Two cars were involved in the crash, with one of the cars, a black Volkswagen, colliding with an eight-year-old boy.
He was taken to Poole Hospital with a suspected broken leg.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said no arrests had been made.
Sea View Road was blocked while emergency services dealt with the incident.
Police left the scene at around 4.30pm.
