A HISTORIC cottage near Fordingbridge has been badly damaged after it was hit by a lorry early this morning.
The property in Salisbury Road, Breamore, was struck shortly after 6.40am.
The driver of the Brakes lorry, a man in his 50s, was taken to Salisbury District Hospital for treatment.
He suffered minor bruising.

A Hazardous Area Response Team from the South Central Ambulance Service attended, along with an officer and a crew.
It is reported that the lorry is propping up the Grade II-listed cottage.
