A DRIVING instructor has been given six points on his licence and a £200 fine after he was caught using his mobile at the wheel.
Dorset Police’s traffic team said they spotted the driving school car being driven “very slowly” and “all over the road.”
Expecting to see a learner driver at the wheel, police said they noticed there was only one person in the car when they were alongside the vehicle as it slowed for a set of traffic lights.
A spokesperson for Dorset Traffic Cops said: “Apparently he was checking to see if a text had come through.”
