RAIL users are facing major disruption this afternoon due to a signalling problem.
Trains are unable to run between Bournemouth and Weymouth.
The problem with the signalling system has occurred between Poole and Weymouth.
As a result, all lines are currently blocked, and trains are unable to travel in either direction.
All trains will start and terminate from Bournemouth.
Normal service is expected to resume by 7pm.
Replacement road transport is being arranged.
National Rail said: “Network Rail are working to fix the fault. Until further notice all trains between Southampton Central and Weymouth will not run between Bournemouth and Weymouth.”
