A MAN has been airlifted to hospital with a head injury after a fall in Swanage.
Police were called to Northbrook Road at around 3.50pm today following the incident in the maintenance area on Swanage Railway.
Firefighters from Swanage, Wareham and Poole were called to the scene along with South Western Ambulance Service and the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance.
Swanage Fire Station said the man had "fallen from height."
The casualty was then placed on a spinal board and transported to hospital by air ambulance for treatment.
