MORE of the drivers who risk lives on Dorset's roads have come before magistrates in Poole.

On Tuesday, Toby Farrow, of York Road in Broadstone, was disqualified from driving for 26 months after admitting driving an Audi A7 on Gravel Hill, Poole with 106 micrograms of alcohol in his breath.

The limit is 35mg, meaning Farrow, 27, was three times the limit.

The defendant, who was arrested on November 11, was fined £666 and ordered to pay a surcharge and costs after admitting drink driving.

John Wingfield, 26, was also arrested on November 11. The defendant, who lives in Avenel Way, Poole, was caught behind the wheel of a Ford Fiesta in Ringwood Road with 80mg of alcohol in breath.

He was fined £418 and disqualified from driving for 20 months after admitting the charge.

Lee Clothier was convicted by magistrates of driving a Nissan X-Trail in Yeovil Road, Sherborne on March 28 with 76mg of alcohol in breath. The 27-year-old, of Westfield in Yeovil, was fined £600 and ordered to pay £620 costs to the CPS. He was also disqualified from driving for 36 months.

Clothier also admitted failing to surrender to custody on October 17, and was fined £100.
