Whitelegg Way closed both ways due to crash
A ROAD in Bournemouth was closed this morning following a crash involving a car and a bicycle.
The A347 Whitelegg Way was shut in both directions between Redhill Roundabout and Northbourne Roundabout. Officers were called to the scene at 6.22am.
The crash involved a black Toyota Verso.
The ambulance service was called at 6.15am.
South Western Ambulance Service attended with an ambulance and two rapid response vehicles.
A spokesperson said: "One patient has been taken to Poole Hospital with reports of a shoulder injury."
The road reopened at 7.30am but delays remain in the area.
