Holby City star Guy Henry has been added to the line-up of celebrity readers at this year’s Julia’s House Carols by Candlelight event.
The actor, who plays Henrik Hanssen in the hit BBC medical drama and appeared as Pius Thicknesse in Harry Potter, will appear alongside Julia’s House Patrons Martin Clunes and Debra Stephenson at St James' Church, Poole, on Monday, December 3.
A second Dorset date, at St James' Church in Shaftesbury, on Wednesday, December 5, will include former Blue Peter presenter Valerie Singleton and DJ Johnnie Walker among its readers.
Tickets are already on sale for the Carols by Candlelight events which are now in their fourth year.
The celebrity readers – and camels – will be joined by families and care staff reading poetry and prose and there will be musical performances by adult and children’s choirs, plus traditional carols. Guests are invited to stay and share mulled wine and mince pies at the end of the concerts.
