Parents have received a message saying All Saints School in Weymouth will be closed tomorrow, Monday, as the building's heating is broken.
In a text message to one parent, the school said: "The heating in the school is broken and the forecast for tomorrow is highs of 8.
"Therefore we have made the decision to close the school tomorrow."
The date in the message incorrectly states tomorrow is Monday, November 20.
The school has since confirmed the closure in a tweet.
Due to a broken heating system we have decided to close the school tomorrow. Year 11's please continue to use GCSEPod.

One parent said: "I'm annoyed about it actually, you'd think the kids could still go in whether the heating is working or not.
"I remember when I was a kid sitting in school in my coat doing work when the heating was broken.
"And anyway, can't they pay someone to come and fix it today?"
The parent added: "They're quick to fine parents when children are taken out of school. Yet they can just close the school like that.
"We'll have to pay for childcare, and some people may struggle with that. Will parents be able to bill the school or the county council for this extra cost?"
