A MAN has been formally found not guilty of causing grievous bodily harm after a teenage boy lost several teeth and suffered a broken jaw in an attack outside a Bournemouth nightclub.
Anthony Allen, of Stour Road in Christchurch, had been charged with the offence after a row outside Truth in Exeter Road on December 16 2017.
The victim, who was 17 at the time, was punched in the face with a knuckleduster in the early hours of the morning. Joshua Anderson, 26 and of Fitzmaurice Road in Christchurch, admitted possession of the knuckleduster, inflicting grievous bodily harm without intent and affray in July, and was jailed.
Allen, 26, denied causing grievous bodily harm without intent, and prosecutors offered no evidence on the first day of a planned trial at Bournemouth Crown Court last week.
However, the defendant accepted a 12-month binding-over order for £300 to be of good behaviour.
