A SPECIAL music concert is being held to raise money for a mum diagnosed with terminal cancer.
Sheila Kelly from Southbourne launched an appeal last month to raise £60,000 to fund Stereotactic Radiotherapy.
The mum-of-two was diagnosed with a kidney tumour five years ago and has since undergone a number of operations and treatments including a clinical trial which almost killed her.
Sheila has recently been told she has multiple tumours on her pancreas and kidneys and is unable to access Stereotactic Radiotherapy through the NHS but can do so privately.
So far £7,170 has been raised towards Sheila's appeal.
The special concert organised by Dr Daniel Jeyatheva will be held on Sunday, November 25, at Trinity Methodist Church in Southbourne Road at 7pm.
It will feature performances from The St George’s Singers and violinist Charlotte Gallagher. There will also be a raffle and refreshments on sale. Tickets are priced £8 and are available from Sharon on 07824859720.
