EMERGENCY services attended Gervis Place in Bournemouth after a man suffered a cardiac arrest.
Police were called by the ambulance service to provide assistance at 5.26pm on Thursday.
It was reported that the man in his 60s had suffered a cardiac arrest while on a bus.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “Very sadly, despite the best efforts of the paramedics, the man was pronounced dead.
“His death is not being treated as suspicious. His next of kin have yet to be informed. The coroner has been notified.”
