A DISQUALIFIED driver was caught behind the wheel four times in just three months this summer.
Trevor Simpson, of Christchurch Road in Bournemouth, has been banned from the roads for four years after admitting repeated breaches of his ban.
The 56-year-old drove his Ford Focus on the Wessex Way on June 29 and in Russell Cotes Road on July 13. He also drove in Christchurch Road on July 16 and August 17.
On Wednesday, the defendant appeared at Poole Magistrates' Court for sentence after admitting four counts of driving while disqualified, four associated counts of driving without insurance and one of the commission of a further offence during the operational period of a suspended sentence order for burglary.
He was sentenced to a community order, under which he must comply with a four-month electronically-monitored curfew and 30 rehabilitation activity requirement days.
He was also disqualified from driving for four years.
