COULD you give a few hours of your time to Poole Hospital?

Volunteers are being sought to help with on-ward trolley rounds and assist in the recently refurbished Tea & Co café in the outpatient area.

Royal Voluntary Service’s Tea & Co café at Poole Hospital attracts a huge number of customers every day and people are needed to prepare and serve food and drinks, signpost people to other services in the local community and provide comfort and company to customers.

Coralie Jenkins, Royal Voluntary Service’s Service Manager at Poole Hospital said: “If you’re someone who likes to keep busy and enjoys helping others, you’re just what we’re looking for. Volunteering can be anything from a few hours a day every other day up to a few days every week.”

Jacqueline Wilson, Royal Voluntary Service trolley volunteer at Poole Hospital said: "I take the trolley out around the wards as I enjoy being part of Royal Voluntary Service and giving back to the community. The patients think it’s wonderful and really appreciate a friendly face and look forward to our visits.”
