A MUM from Poole pushed her twin boys for 13 miles in their buggy along the seafront to raise money for charity that offers support to bereaved parents.

Jodie Sparey ran from Sandbanks to Hengistbury Head and back on Saturday, October 27, for Stillbirth and neonatal death charity, Sands.

Before embarking on the challenge, Jodie said: “October is infant loss awareness month and I am running a race of remembrance for all the angels born sleeping, or too precious to stay.”

She added: “Earlier this year my friend sadly lost her twin boys, so that’s why mine are coming with me on this run. In honour of hers.”

Jodie’s youngsters, 14-month-old Eden and Asher Harding, joined her for the personal challenge with Jodie met at the finish line by her daughter.

She has already smashed her fundraising target of £450 and has raised £645 for the charity.
