A ROAD in Bournemouth is closed this morning for an 'environmental clean'.
Police are also on scene at the road closure in St Michael's Road, Bournemouth.
A person on the cordon said the reason for the road closure was for an environmental clean.
Sophie Ricketts, Bournemouth Borough Council’s Targeted Enforcement Manager said: “This road was identified as benefiting from a multi-agency enviro-clean, which includes street cleansing, tarmacing, refreshing white lines, cutting overhanging foliage and graffiti removal.
"Police Community Support Officers assisted with the road closure and with community engagement for the clean-up. Resident feedback has been really positive and the road is looking great.”
