Years behind the lens: Two years.
Current camera: Nikon D850.
Dream camera: I already have it, my Nikon D850.
Piece of equipment you couldn’t be without: My Manfrotto tripod. A great tripod is a brilliant starting point for a landscape photographer.
Favourite Dorset location: Mudeford Quay.
Dream location: Crete. I love the views there, it’s one of the most beautiful places on earth.
Worst photographic mishap: I was travelling to Durdle Door in the bad snow earlier this year hoping to get some dramatic winter images but the roads were so icy and slippery I got stranded and had to be rescued.
Best photographic success: I was really proud to win third place in this year’s Spencer’s New Forest Heather in Bloom competition.
Top tip: Carry a spare, fully charged, battery. You always want to be prepared for that extra, last minute shot.
What you’ve gained/learnt from or liked about Echo Camera Club Dorset: I think the Echo camera club can really help new photographers to get inspired. It’s fantastic seeing images being added every day, showing lots of different locations and there are plenty of experienced photographers who can help give advice and tips to help you get going.
