FIRE crews worked for three hours to rescue a horse from a ditch in Dorset on Friday night.
Crews from Ferndown and Poole were sent to St Leonard's around 10pm to pull the horse, named Charm, from the ditch after it had become stuck.
Technical rescue equipment was used as well as a tractor to release Charm.
A spokesperson from Ferndown station said: "After nearly three hours ‘Charm’ was out of the water and confirmed to be ok by the vet albeit a little cold and tired."
