THE Wareham Rotary 'Tree of Light' will be illuminated in the grounds of Wareham Hospital this December.

A Rotary spokesman explained: "This is a commemorative tree with lights of remembrance for those who are no longer with us.

"The ceremony will be followed by a carol service.

The Rotary Club of Wareham, chartered in 1972, meets every Tuesday evening at the Springfield Hotel, Wareham.

It supports a wide range of charities and good causes.

The tree lighting ceremony will take place at the hospital on December 7, from 4pm.
