TWO men have appeared before the courts after a group of teenagers were allegedly robbed in Bournemouth.
Aaron Anders, now of HMP Berwyn in Wrexham, and John Williams, of HMP Winchester, appeared at Poole Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.
The defendants were charged following an alleged incident in King's Park on Sunday, July 16 last year.
Police claim four boys and two girls, all of whom were aged around 16, were approached by two men who said they had acid and a knife.
A vape and a small amount of cash were then stolen, it is claimed.
No one was injured and no weapon was seen.
Anders, 24, has been charged with the attempted robbery of an Armani watch worth £120. Williams, 27, is charged with two counts of robbery. Prosecutors allege he took a vape and £12.
The men will next appear at Bournemouth Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing on November 15.
