The poppy appeal will launch next week in Wimborne
THE launch of the town's 2018 poppy appeal will take place next Saturday, October 27 at 10am in the Square.
Mayor Kelly Webb will travel to the town centre in a convoy of military vehicles and buy the first poppy.
Cadets will also be on parade. Volunteers are needed to sell poppies - for more information, or to get involved, visit the Royal British Legion clubhouse in West Borough.
