WOODVILLE Wanderers are blazing a trail at the top of Hayward Sunday League Division Six after brushing aside Canford Rovers reserves 4-1 courtesy of Leon Samson, Phil Maidment and a couple of goals from Harry Salter.

Josh Saul scored for Rovers but could not prevent Woodville from maintaining their perfect start.

Nearest rivals Siemens netted through Billy Mackey and Rhys Jessop but their perfect record was ruined when Poole Rovers held them to a 2-2 draw thanks to Lewis Worrall and an own goal.

JP Morgan are off the mark in Division One with Luke Brown, Kelly Barth and Francis Okafer earning them a 3-3 draw with AFC Burton, who salvaged a point thanks to Levi Ridealgh’s late equaliser.

It was Ridealgh’s second goal of the game for Burton, whose other goal came via Dan Seymour.

Wakanda netted through Sami Makhloufi, Yoseph Bajandou and a couple of goals from Diego Galusni but they had to settle for a point when Jordan Whittle (2), Sam Davis and Johnny-Ray Porter earned West Howe a 4-4 draw.

Jordan Osmond struck twice when Scott V subdued Morden 3-1 to go fourth in Division Four. Jamie Hackett was the other Scott V marksman with Aaron Woldon replying for Morden.

Jonathan Brown and Ricky Mee netted for Redhill Rangers but West Mullen held them to a 2-2 draw thanks to Joe Warden and Rhys Karl.

Christchurch Starre netted through Josh Rose and a couple of goals from Stuart Poulter but Parkstone Athletic got the better of them 4-3 in Division Five with goals from Trevor Branson, Dave Payne, Jon Sebbar and Michael Trim.

Carl Phillips and Charlie King struck for Tower Park in the second round of the MA Hart In-Excess Cup but Bournemouth Sports Mercury went through to the quarter finals after Dave Cavill, Matt Underwood, Gareth Feasey, Dean Norman and Dan Felton gave them the upper hand 5-2.

Alderney Manor also advanced after Tom Smart, Mark Seal and Scott Roberts ensured a 3-0 success against AFC Wimborne.

Callum Gregory notched a hat-trick when Ringwood Town under-18s emerged 4-1 winners from their Hampshire Sunday Under-18s Cup first-round tie against Hedge End, with Alex Turner also on target.

All other Sunday league and cup games were postponed.
