A MAN charged with 21 offences - including six alleged burglaries - appeared before a judge at Bournemouth Crown Court yesterday.

As reported in the Daily Echo, Daniel James, who is of no fixed abode, made a first appearance at Poole Magistrates' Court on Saturday, October 6. He was remanded into custody after the hearing.

He has not yet entered pleas to six counts of burglary, 12 of fraud and three of attempted burglary.

Prosecutors allege he targeted a number of businesses in Bournemouth and Boscombe on dates in September. It is claimed that businesses including the Wah Hing Chinese Supermarket in Sea Road and Marco Polo restaurant in Christchurch Road were among those burgled.

James, 27, will next appear for a plea and trial preparation hearing in November.
