Looking for something to do this weekend? here's our guide to what's on and where.

1. Bournemouth’s first Memory Walk takes place on the seafront on Saturday. The event had to be postponed last month due to bad weather. The walk is organised by the Alzheimer’s Society and starts at 11am at The Waterfront. Participants can walk 3.5km or 8km. Registration closes today. To sign up, visit memorywalk.org.uk.

2. The second annual One World by the Sea Festival will be taking place at various locations across Bournemouth and Poole this weekend. Organised by The International Education Forum (IEF), the event aims to celebrate diversity within the local community. An international family day will take place in The Triangle on Saturday between 11am and 5pm and will feature salsa music, a Chinese lion dance, Polish folk dancing as well as Latin and Caribbean music. There will also be balloon entertainment from Dr Balloonman and face painting, plus cuisine from around the globe and stalls.

3. Films from around the world will be celebrated at the Purbeck Film Festival which returns from today. Movie buffs will be able to attend screenings at a host of venues across Purbeck and Poole until October 27. Film fans will be able to see the likes of animated tale, The Breadwinner, at The Rex in Wareham on Saturday at 6pm, award-winning drama, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri at Lytchett Matravers Village Hall on Saturday at 7.30pm and historical romantic drama, The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, at Stoborough Village Hall on Saturday at 7.30pm.

5. Model tanks, boats, cars and planes will be on show at The Tank Museum this weekend. The South West Model Show will see exhibitors from across the UK exhibit their miniature, remote control and scale models throughout the museum. Takes place on Saturday and Sunday.

6. The three-day Swanage Railway Autumn Steam Gala begins tomorrow and runs until Sunday.

7. Get up close to Tyrannosaurus Rex, a Triceratops, Giraffatitan, Microraptor and Segnosaurus when interactive family show, Dinosaur World Live, comes to the Lighthouse on Saturday and Sunday.

8. Actress, impressionist and star of Dead Ringers, Debra Stephenson, brings her Night of 100 Voices show to Poole's Lighthouse tomorrow night.

9. Gatecrasher Classical comes to Bournemouth's 02 Academy on Saturday for a special one-off event hosted by former Radio 1 DJ, Judge Jules. The celebrated trance brand presents orchestral renditions and DJs including John Askew, Scott Bond, Signum, Daniel Skyver, Rob Tissera, Alf Graham, Dan Diamond and Uprise.
