MUSIC fans will be treated to several hours of live performances in Bournemouth this weekend.

The Oxjam Music Festival returns on Saturday and will see a number of acts perform across three venues in the Lansdowne area between 1.30pm and 11pm.

The Old Fire Station, Buffalo Bar and The Anvil will serve as this year’s official venues with performance times staggered so people can hop between the venues for the chance to watch all of the bands.

Acts set to perform include Skaema, Monster Logic, Stocksnskins, All Of This, One Word, Laika, Sirpico and Violet.

Early bird tickets are on sale now for £5 with tickets available on the day for £7.

Oxjam, now in its 12th year, is an annual music festival organised entirely by volunteers with events taking place up and down the country to raise money for Oxfam in a bid to beat poverty.

A spokesperson said: “Don’t underestimate our talented local musicians and remember every artist in the charts started out playing small local gigs. Don’t miss out, we’re hoping to create a real buzz in Lansdowne celebrating our music community and aim to raise lots of money for charity.”
