ASHLEIGH LOUISE NIPPARD, aged 26 and of Holdenhurst Road, Bournemouth, admits stealing staff tip money, a Costa Coffee charity box and cakes from Costa Coffee in Christchurch Road on May 14. Discharged conditionally for two years. To pay £30 compensation. Also admits failing to surrender to custody on June 26. No separate penalty.

DANIEL HOPE, aged 37 and of Noel Road, Bournemouth, admits assaulting a person by beating her in Bournemouth on August 21. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. To pay a £20 surcharge, to pay £85 costs. Also admits threatening a person that he could damage a laptop intending that she would fear the threat would be carried out.

JACK BARRETT, aged 38 and of McKeevor Place, Banbury, Oxfordshire, admits stealing a chainsaw worth £89 from Homebase in Christchurch on July 20. Community order made. The defendant must have treatment for a drug dependency for six months and comply with a rehabilitation activity requirement for a maximum of 20 days. To pay an £85 surcharge, to pay £85 costs. Also admits being the rider of a cycle in Christchurch Road, Bournemouth and failing to stop when required to by a PC. Also admits stealing a pedal cycle worth £749 in Christchurch. Also admits commission of a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge for a period of 12 months for theft. No adjudication - dealt with for original offence.

DEXTER SIMPSON, aged 27 and of Bargates, Christchurch, convicted of assaulting a person thereby occasioning her actual bodily harm in Gervis Road, Bournemouth on November 5 2017. Committed to prison for 26 weeks. Reason: belt and glass used as weapons, injuries sustained. To pay a £115 surcharge.
