Do you remember Merley Bird Gardens? The attraction opened in 1968 in the grounds of Merley House, near Wimborne. Consisting of exotic birds, formal gardens, shrubberies and watergardens, all set in a historic walled garden. Owner Kevin Martin is pictured here in 1986 and sadly the closure of the gardens came in 1997 and now is the home to Merley Court Holiday Park.
