A SPOOK-TACULAR sight will be taking over Poole High Street, with the town's first ever Zombie Fest.
Organised by Poole BID and Zombie Escapes HQ, the event takes place from 10am on Saturday, October 27, with zombie fancy dress, special effects stands, live music, themed traders and spooky snacks and family-friendly activities in Falkland Square and the Dolphin Shopping Centre.
The free-to-enter Zombie Parade will begin gathering at Falkland Square at around 3.30pm and will travel along the High Street to Town Quay at 4.45pm, with prizes being awarded on the day for the "worst dressed" zombies.
A specially designed pop-up escape room will be in place throughout the day – where the race is on to find the vaccine and save the world. Get your picture taken as a survivor (or an infected zombie) in the souvenir picture booth.
Justin Hundley-Appleton, BID manager, said: “Plans are coming together well for Poole Zombie Fest, the team at Zombie Escapes HQ have some great things in store for all those who dare to attend for some frightful fun. There will be more than enough to keep the whole family entertained all day, so come down early."
