A MAN arrested after a serious crash in Holdenhurst Road has been released under investigation.
A 23-year-old Bournemouth man was arrested following a collision between a pedestrian and a car in the early hours on Wednesday morning.
The injured man, who is 20 and from Surrey, was taken to Southampton Hospital with serious head injuries.
He remains in hospital.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident.
