POLICE in Poole are investigating a spate of reports of offences involving cars.

More than ten incidents were reported across the town in just days.

A Sat Nav was stolen from a car parked in Old Kiln Road, Hamworthy sometime between 11.30am and 12noon on Wednesday, September 19. The vehicle had been left unlocked.

Coins were stolen from a vehicle parked in Burton Road, Canford Cliffs sometime between 10pm on Wednesday, September 19 and 7am the following day. The thief smashed the driver's side window. The window of a second vehicle in the same road was smashed between 10pm on Thursday, September 20 and 8am the following day. Nothing was stolen.

On Friday, September 21, the rear passenger window of a car parked in Warmwell Close, Canford Heath East, was smashed with a brick.

The rear window of a car parked in Dale Valley Road, Oakdale was smashed on Friday afternoon. The bodywork of the vehicle was also damaged. On the same day, the rear window of a car parked in Dale Valley Road was smashed on the afternoon. The bodywork of the vehicle was also damaged.

The front and rear number plates of a vehicle parked in Cotes Avenue, Parkstone were stolen between 7.50am and 5.05pm on Friday.

The following day, Saturday, September 22, thieves broke into a car parked in Yarmouth Road, Branksome West and stole a drill, battery and carry bag, a black and white Makida radio and a Trespass backpack.

Sometime between 6pm on Saturday and 3.20pm on Sunday, a vandal slashed all of the tyres of a vehicle parked in Esmonde Way, Canford Heath East. The vehicle was parked at the rear of a property.

On Sunday, the wing mirror of a vehicle parked in Hewitt Road, Hamworthy was ripped off.

Offensive words were etched into the paintwork of a car parked in Fitzworth Avenue, Hamworthy on the same day.

The windscreen of a vehicle parked in Hastings Road, Creekmoor was smashed between 5pm on Sunday and 10am the following day.
