BURGLARS have targeted three homes within a mile of one another in the Moordown and Ensbury Park areas of Bournemouth.

Police were initially called to an attempted raid at a home in Leybourne Avenue shortly after 9pm on Friday, September 7. The homeowner was in the bath when they heard the back gate open.

The victim went downstairs to investigate and saw someone running away from the property.

Nothing was stolen.

The following day, Saturday, September 8, officers were called at 2.30pm to reports of a break-in at a home in Ensbury Park Road. The burglary took place sometime between 10.15am and 1pm. Jewellery and collectable coins were stolen. Police say the burglars removed a small window on the ground floor to get inside the house.

On Tuesday, September 11, an Xbox was stolen from a first floor flat in Redhill Drive sometime between 8am and 11.55am. The burglars carried out an untidy search.

No arrests have been made and investigations are under way.
