DORSET-based animal rescue charity Margaret Green is hoping to find homes forever homes for six animals in its care this week.

Two-year-old cat, Jasmine, is a sweet girl but is still settling into her surroundings so may hiss at first. She does like a fuss but when she’s ready. Jasmine would prefer a quiet adult home without any other pets.

Alfie is a four-year-old cat who is described as fairly outgoing and friendly. He enjoys hunting so may bring his new owner a few unexpected gifts. He needs an adult home with no other pets.

Seven-year-cat, Lola, is a “very independent” girl who will let you know if she wants a fuss or not. She needs a quiet home with no other pets.

Mikey is two-year-old Greyhound who is very affectionate, happy and fun loving. He can live with a female dog, older children but not cats or small furries.

Finally, there’s Junior the Jack Russell Terrier. He is enthusiastic about life and would prefer to be the only dog in the home but can live with teenage children, however, would prefer not to live with cats.
