A MAN who planned to sell Xanax at Poole Bus Station has been spared a prison sentence.
Ben Nolan, of Northern Road in Poole, appeared before magistrates on Friday, September 14 to admit possession of a class C with intent to supply it.
The 21-year-old had alprazolam, which is more commonly known as Xanax, a minor tranquiliser, at the bus and coach station at the Dolphin Centre on September 12.
He also admitted having a quantity of cannabis in his possession.
Nolan was sentenced to a community order, under which he must comply with a rehabilitation activity requirement for up to 15 days and carry out 80 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months.
He must also pay an £85 surcharge and £25 costs. The drugs will be forfeited and destroyed.
