JOB-hunters and recruiters alike are set to benefit from the return of the Daily Echo Job Fair.

The event, on Thursday, October 4, will bring some of the area’s leading employers together under one roof.

It takes place from 10.30am-4pm (last entry 3.45pm) at the Premier Inn, Westover Road, Bournemouth, and admission is free.

It offers the ideal opportunity for job-hunters to talk to potential employers face to face to discuss what opportunities might be available.

Around 30 employers are expected, representing a wide range of businesses from a solicitors’ practice to a bus company, and care providers to an insurance company.

Once again, Best Training will offer free workshops to support those seeking work or a change in career, and will also be on hand for general enquiries.

Angela Boyer, sales and events manager for the Daily Echo and associated titles, said: “The Daily Echo Job Fairs are unique in that they give job seekers an opportunity to meet a diverse range of employers in a relaxed environment to discuss roles that may suit them.

“Whether you’re currently unemployed, looking for something different or perhaps trying to climb the career ladder, this is a great event to attend.

“The employers are always really welcoming, making even the shyest attendee feel at ease. So come along, bring your CV and be ready to discuss your future.”

David McArthur, of Bournemouth Jobcentre Plus, said: “The Daily Echo Job Fair helps hundreds of local people improve their lives by assisting them to secure their ideal job or career.

“Thousands of people in the past have found their dream job via attending therefore it’s a must-do if you are serious in your job search. Jobcentre Plus is proud to work in partnership with the Daily Echo in bettering the lives of all local people.”

Everyone is welcome and should come along with CVs, dressed for an interview.
