FANCY an extraordinary Caribbean holiday with your family onboard one of the world’s most spectacular cruise ships?

The Daily Echo has joined forces with Royal Caribbean International to find one fun-seeking family from Dorset and Hampshire who will scoop an incredible seven-night trip around the Caribbean onboard Harmony of the Seas during next year’s February half term school holidays.

All you have to do is create a 30-second video introducing your family members and explain why you should win this fantastic prize. Once your video is ready simply upload it to Instagram with the hashtag #Newsquestcruise and tag @dailyecho

And what a prize it will be! Setting sail on Harmony of the Seas, from February 17-24, 2019, this seven-night Eastern Caribbean cruise will sail from Fort Lauderdale (Florida), visiting the beautiful Caribbean islands of St. Maarten, Puerto Rico and the private island destination of Labadee in Haiti. Return flights and hotel accommodation pre-cruise for the trip are also included.

Here’s a taste of what awaits the winner on each of the incredible Caribbean islands:

St. Maarten

Sit back and watch the world go by on the dream island of St. Maarten, which boasts a range of family fun attractions including quad biking up mountain trails and down to the beach to take in the views of the azure seas. Alternatively, immerse yourself in Philipsburg’s natural, cultural, and historic landmarks on a scenic ride through the city in a custom trolley train with the chance to stop and buy souvenirs for friends and loved ones in the local shops.

Puerto Rico

Feel the buzz in Puerto Rico, with its picture-perfect beaches, colourful colonial buildings and mighty El Morro and San Cristóbal fortresses.

Or why not explore lively Old San Juan, snapping its blue cobbled streets, Paseo de la Princesa promenade and Calle del Cristo restaurants, art galleries and shops.

Labadee

Labadee in Haiti is Royal Caribbean’s own exclusive private beach destination. When guests step foot on Labadee Beach, the first thing that comes to mind is paradise. The white sandy beach stretches out for miles, with crystal-clear waters that lap at the shore invitingly.

During a visit to Labadee, families can thrill and chill in equal measures!

Feeling adventurous? Take a ride on the Dragon’s Breath Flight line, the world’s longest zip line over water. The flight starts at the mountaintop launch point and make its way over the ocean, travelling at speeds of 40-50mph.

Or if roller coasters are more of an appeal, the kids will love the Dragon’s Tail Coaster. Journey through the jungle, through a series of dips, waves and curves, on this exciting mountainside roller coaster.

And of course the winners will enjoy the extraordinary experience of one of Royal Caribbean’s most adventure-packed ships, Harmony of the Seas, which takes family fun to new heights! If you’re a fun-seeking family looking for the perfect getaway, you’ll find the very best of Royal Caribbean here. Watch robots mix your cocktail at the incredible Bionic Bar or delight your taste buds with an amazing choice of dining experiences. Harmony of the Seas brings with it the Ultimate Abyss (the tallest slide at sea with a 10 storey drop), and The Perfect Storm - a trio of thrilling water slides. After all the excitement you can relax and enjoy the view from your spacious Ocean View room.

Entries must be received by Sunday, September 30, and judges will then select three families to compete in the final. They will be invited to spend a day on Independence of the Seas in Southampton and footage of their visit will then be given to judges, who will select the winning family.
