A SHOPLIFTER who carried out a 'crime spree' of offending has been jailed.
Daniel Mark Reynolds, who is of no fixed abode, admitted 10 counts of theft at Poole Magistrates' Court on September 12.
The 43-year-old targeted stores including the Co-op, John Lewis, Marks and Spencer, Waitrose and Tesco between May and August.
He stole a range of items, including coffee, a china ornament, meat and alcohol.
The defendant also admitted failing to comply with the supervision requirements imposed following release from a period of imprisonment by failing to report as directed on four occasions.
He has now been jailed for a total of eight weeks and ordered to compensate some of his victims
Magistrates said an immediate prison sentence was necessary because Reynolds committed a "spree" of offences.
